As you may have seen, I have not been blogging, commenting or answering email for several days. This will continue until Friday, when I finish my final exams. Thanks for your patience!
Hey hammer we'll be keeping you in our prayers as you work, study, and keep up with the family. Our prayers are with mrs hammer as well as I know she's holding down the fort so you can do all the above.
I appear to have passed all of my courses. I actually though I would be blogging like mad by now, but work and familial responsibilities have picked up their pace! Simply said, the package delivery industry is brutal between Thanksgiving and New Year's. When I signed up for the job, I was told to expect to start at 4am and pssibly an hour earlier. Monday's start time?
"Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures."
-1 Co 15:1-6
"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." -James 1:27
